Tally is a financial statement accounting software and it is very useful. Tally is a complete business accounting and inventory management software that provides various facilities like Govt. supported formats, multilingual operations, online functions and processing for small and medium businesses.
Knowing Tally and using Tally are both different things.
Let’s start with some of the simplest techniques of using Tally.
Use Tally with only the Keyboard
The best way to use Tally is with a keyboard.
Of course, you can click the Tally icon to open Tally with a mouse but once Tally is running keep your mouse away from your hand or you can just unplug it if you are only using Tally.
Tally is created in such a way that every command in Tally can completed with the help of a keyboard.

To get Company Info menu when you are in Gateway of Tally. In company info menu you can do various work such as Selecting a company, Shutting a company, Create a new company, Alter a company data, Change Tally vault, Split company data and also take backup and restore company’s data from there.To Alter/change the Selected Company
To Shut a company. If more than one company is selected then it will ask us to choose which is to be closed. Select the desired company and then press Enter key will close the company.
